Cut Sample Assay work
In February of 2019 two cut samples were taken from the 163 level at the face of the westerly drift. Both samples taken were from an easily and safely accessible location for a two-person crew to cut out of the drift face. The cut samples were for practice purposes in determining a more representative ore grade for a mineable dimension. Practice was over seen and introduced by Jim Paschis who has his M.S. in Geology from Colorado School of Mines as well as multiple decades of underground mining experience.
Samples were sent to Hazen Research, Inc. in Golden, Colorado who performed fire assay analysis with gravimetric finish. Results presented in Table 1.0 are from Analytical Report 19M01374.
Tools used to obtain these cut samples include hammer and chisel, electric grinder, sample bags and appropriate personal protective equipment. These samples are the fifth set of samples taken by the current operator of the Bates-Hunter mine, BH Mining Company.
